WHAT AREAS ARE PROTECTED UNDER HUMAN RIGHTS LAW?

Each province or territory has a human rights act which protects you in the areas of employment, housing, services, goods and facilities offered to the public, and in some provinces, publications, advertising, membership in unions and professional associations and public contracts.  Check the websites for various human rights agencies in each province or territory for more information.
