Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden

The Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden was opened in 1967 in celebration of Canada’s Centennial and as a symbol of Japanese and Canadian friendship. (The name Ni means Japan, Kameans Canada and Yuko means friendship.) It is a mature four-acre garden that combines the time-honoured principles of Japanese Garden design with Canadian cultural values to form a new and unique beauty.
