Kurimoto Japanese Garden

This garden was named in honour of Dr. Yuichi Kurimoto, who was the first Japanese national to graduate from first Japanese national to graduate from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Arts in 1930. The garden occupies five acres with the central feature being a large pond around which many structures, such as a tea house, stone lanterns and sheltered gazebos, are displayed.
