Folkfest

Time: July 1 Canada Day
Each year on Canada Day, the Kamloops Multicultural Society coordinates Folkfest, a multicultural celebration at Riverside Park. Cultural organizations set up booths to sell ethnic foods, set up displays of arts and crafts and participate in cultural performances. The Kamloops Japanese Canadian Association and its many volunteers share the Japanese Canadian culture with the large crowds that attend the annual Folkfest.
