Month of May annually
The month of May has been declared Asian Heritage Month by the government of Canada. It is a time to celebrate the contributions made by people of Asian descent to the building of Canada, and to share with other Canadians the Asian arts, music, food, writings, films and heritage. Japanese Canadian organizations across Canada participate with other Asian Canadian communities in this month-long celebration.
