Steveston Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre

On January 14, 1991, the Richmond City Council approved building the cultural centre on municipal property just north of the existing Steveston Martial Arts Centre. The operational and maintenance costs are borne by the City of Richmond. The L-shaped facility houses an enclosed Japanese garden and was officially opened in September 1992.
Activities: gateball, karaoke, language classes, cultural clubs, senior’s activities
