Renewal - National Redress Survey
In April 1986, the NAJC conducted a national survey of Japanese Canadians to determine their views on redress. The results showed strong support for compensation as an element in the settlement. All centres favoured individual compensation. The results disputed the government claims that Japanese Canadians did not support individual compensation.
