Koko Kikuchi
Koko Kikuchi was born in Japan and graduated from Waseda University in Tokyo. He attended Graduate School at the University of Toronto and following graduation he returned to Japan. While living in Japan Koko married an English Canadian. He flew to Toronto for the wedding and returned to Japan with his wife for the next two years. . However, he was not happy in Japan and wanted more freedom and opportunity to seek his potential so he immigrated to Canada in 1986. Koko is a consultant, researcher, interpreter, translator and teacher of the Japanese language. He is active in the Japanese Canadian community taking on leadership responsibilities with the new immigrant organization and participating with Japanese Canadian organizations such as the Cultural Centre and NAJC. They have three daughters and all of then bilingual in English and Japanese
