Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre of Kamloops

The National Nikkei Heritage Centre is one of the three buildings at Nikkei Place, the largest, most comprehensive Japanese Canadian complex in Canada. This building, designed by Raymond Moriyama, was conceived by community leaders in the 1980s and was officially opened on September 22, 2000.
The centre offers many cultural and social programs throughout the year and is home to the Japanese Canadian National Museum, Greater Vancouver Japanese Canadian Citizens Association, Gladstone Japanese Language School and ICAS Community Television.
