About NAJC - Leadership Conferences

During 1992, leadership skills development conferences were held in Toronto and Calgary for 80 aspiring community leaders. The conference focused on three key areas: leadership styles and roles; strategic planning; and public speaking.

Emerging Leaders Forum

In its efforts to foster the involvement of a new generation of Japanese Canadian leaders, the NAJC sponsored a forum in Thunder Bay, Ontario in 2003. The emerging leaders discussed issues facing Japanese Canadian communities and enhanced their leadership skills through training workshops.
